Boronated Single Alkenyl Polyisobutylene Succinimide

Boronated Single Alkenyl Polyisobutylene Succinimide is generally used with oxidation inhibitors and acid neutralizing additives in gasoline and diesel engine oils. It provides excellent low temperature sludge and varnish control in gasoline engines, and effective dispersancy in diesel engine, natural gas and marine cylinder lubricants.

Boronated polyisobutenyl succinimide is a chemical compound that is commonly used as a friction modifier in lubricant additives. It is a boron-containing additive that enhances the lubricating properties of oils and greases.

Polyisobutenyl succinimide is a polymer derived from polyisobutene and succinic anhydride. It has excellent dispersant properties and is commonly used as a detergent in fuel additives. The addition of boron to this compound enhances its performance as a friction modifier, reducing friction and wear in engines and other mechanical systems.

The boron atoms in the compound form a bond with the metal surfaces, creating a protective film that reduces the contact between moving parts. This results in improved lubrication and reduced wear and tear on the engine or machinery.

Boronated polyisobutenyl succinimide is commonly used in automotive engine oils, transmission fluids, and industrial lubricants. It provides excellent protection against friction, wear, and corrosion, improving the overall performance and lifespan of the lubricated systems.

Overall, boronated polyisobutenyl succinimide is an important additive in lubricant formulations, providing enhanced lubrication and protection in a wide range of applications.

Application

Boronated Single Alkenyl Polyisobutylene Succinimide has the good compatibility with metal detergents, ZDDP and other series of additives ,and has the good synergistic effect with additives. It is mainly used for blending high-quality gasoline engine oils and diesel engine oils.
