Product Introduction
As a new high-temperature antioxidant with superior performance, the ester-phenolic antioxidant features high thermal stability, outstanding anti-oxidation performance at high temperature, high oil solubility, and high compatibility with other additives(especially with amine type antioxidants),etc. So it can be widely used in various industrial lubricants, such as lubricating oils of top-grade internal combustion engines, conduction oils, high-temperature chain lubricants, hydraulic oils, gear oils, and steam turbine oils, and all kinds of greases and fuel oils.
Reference Dosage
The ordinary percentage in usage is 0.3-0.5%.
Ester phenolic antioxidants have a structure that consists of a phenolic ring attached to an ester group. This structure provides them with both phenolic and ester properties, which contribute to their antioxidant activity. The phenolic ring has a hydroxyl group, which can donate hydrogen atoms to scavenger free radicals and stabilize them. The ester group provides solubility in materials and enhances the dispersibility of the antioxidant.
One of the key benefits of ester phenolic antioxidants is their ability to prevent degradation caused by heat, light, and oxidative processes. They work by inhibiting the formation of free radicals, which are highly reactive species that can initiate chain reactions and cause chain scission or crosslinking of materials. By scavenging free radicals, ester phenolic antioxidants can prevent the propagation of degradation reactions and extend the lifespan of materials.
Ester phenolic antioxidants refer to a class of compounds with phenolic and ester structures. They are usually produced by the reaction of phenol or its derivatives with fatty acids or their derivatives, and have good antioxidant properties. Compared with traditional antioxidants, ester phenolic antioxidants have higher antioxidant activity and a wider range of applications.
